In November, we heard from the NRCA about the value of creating a "safety culture" for your business. The goal of safety programs isn't to avoid OSHA fines, it's to avoid a workplace accident - something that can significantly affect every aspect of your business. This meeting will dig deeper, with OSHA walking us through the most significant risks for roofing contractors, including: 
In addition, you'll be asked to consider best practices that you use at your company and share your ideas with others. Contributing to the discussion, OSHA will review the highly successful Hazard Assessment Process and talk about ways to incorporate that practice into a daily tailgate meeting before starting work.

for the Appleton Area OSHA Office.
