All MRCA member company employees and relatives of employees are eligible to apply for MRCA Foundation scholarships. Deadline for the 2013-14 academic year: June 21, 2013.

What are the criteria?

To qualify for a scholarship, you must provide proof that you are employed by an MRCA member company or related to an employee of an MRCA member company. In addition to your completed application form, you must submit a current transcript, two letters of recommendation and one-page essay to the foundation office by June 21, 2013 for the 2013-14 academic school year. One letter of recommendation may come from a director of MRCA, but no letter from a director of the foundation board will be considered.

How do I apply for a scholarship?

Submit your completed application with the required criteria by June 21, 2013 to the foundation office at MRCA c/o Foundation, 4700 W. Lake Avenue, Glenview, IL 60025.

Scholarships are awarded based on the applicant's academic performance, employment experience, financial need, and demonstrated desire to pursue higher education.

What is the acceptance procedure?

Shortly after June 21st, when all the applications have been processed, they will be forwarded to the foundation board for review. The board will identify candidates who meet the criteria and select the recipients. Both recipients and non-recipients will be notified in writing. Awards will be sent directly to the school referenced on the application.
